2021 Excellence in Construction Awards - Master Builder of the Year: Maben Group Pty Ltd

2021 Master Builder of the Year - Commercial

MBV President Mark Little, Craig Gathercole (Maben Group Pty Ltd) and MBV CEO Rebecca Casson

The project involved the aesthetic upgrade of the Highpoint Shopping Centre. The upgrade sought to align the various mall voids and maintain the line of sight down the retail malls. Maben Group worked closely with the client and design team throughout the project to ensure initial concept sketches were developed and accurately implemented on-site to reflect the design intent. Floor finishes consisted of bluestone and granite tiling that incorporated a feature granite wave and decorative ‘possum tail swirl’. Spotted gum timber flooring pods were inserted in designated seating areas. Finishes to the balustrade included black mirror Rimex and heat-soaked glazing with a rounded spotted gum handrail.
