Election time at MBV
MBV is holding an election to fill positions that had arisen from insufficient nominations and resignations since the last election. The Australian Electoral Commission is running the election process for MBV.
Nominations are opened from 1 November to 15 November 2023.
Only eligible MBV members from the Housing Sub-Contractor Sector Group, the Regional Sector Group and the Materials, Manufacturing and Supply Sector Group may nominate themselves or other members to fill the positions below.

Materials, Manufacturing and Supply Sector
- MBV Electoral Council Member – 1 position
Housing Sub Contractor Sector
- MBV Electoral Council Members - 7 positions
These positions form part of the MBV Electoral Council, and members of the MBV Electoral Council elect amongst themselves to sit on the MBV Board. The MBV Board is the governing body of MBV.
Members of the MBV Electoral Council also form the Sector Committees, which act as advisory groups that provide MBV with feedback and information in relation to the building and construction industry.
