Internally the building has been finished to the highest clinical standards, using contrasting flooring colours to delineate treatment bays without closing in the space. A central light well brings sun flooding into the area, aiding in the wellbeing of the patients and staff, and creating a visual break in the open ceiling. Consistency in construction methodologies and careful management of finishing trades, ensured a stylish finish with robust materials, that will cope with years of patient care. The facility had to continue operating throughout the construction period, which included COVID lockdowns and regular emergency helicopter landings. As a medical facility, infection control was critical and required all workers to abide by stringent controls. The finish will wear well, providing a long term, attractive asset for the community and the hospital.

All windows in these areas were positioned facing the views over the town of Buln Buln and surrounding areas. TS Constructions worked closely with the owners to build a stylish, 212sqm single-storey home (150sqm of living space) with visually impressive articulation and material selection. The ground floor consists of a large, north-facing living zone and kitchen that opens onto a wide deck with views of the garden. There are four bedrooms in this well laid out home. Rooms and windows have been situated to capture both prevailing sea breezes and wonderful views of Bass Strait.
The scope of works included the complete internal fit-out and external facade works. The design is a stunning departure from the old and dated original hospital building and uses dramatically contrasting materials such as VITRA Panel Cladding in a dark finish, and highly polished feature downpipes to create a visual impact.
The newly constructed Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club complex, has been the culmination of years of work by the community. Standing proud on a headland, with sweeping views of the stunning Bunurong coast and Cape Paterson beach, the clubhouse is more than just a summer base to watch over swimmers.
