Plan Low Rise Construction

This course is suitable if you are a qualified tradesperson, registered builder, site manager, construction manager or other building professional involved in planning onsite construction work.

This course covers planning low rise construction work, including developing project schedules. It also teaches you how to implement a quality assurance system and continuous improvement processes, and how to select, procure and store construction materials. You will gain skills and knowledge to:

• Plan on-site activities, employ human resources and obtain physical resources
• Enhance project outcomes by contributing to quality planning, applying quality policies and procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement in projects
• Supervise the systems through which construction materials are typically selected, acquired and stored on site for residential and commercial building and construction projects
  This short course forms part of the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)

Due to the accelerated nature of this course, it is recommended that students have at least three years’ experience in the building and construction industry.
