Low Rise Sustainability Principles (Green Living)

This course is delivered and assessed by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935). On successful completion of all course requirements, including assessment and attendance, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by Master Builders Association of Victoria (RTO no 3935).

Course Overview

This course is suitable for you if you are a qualified tradesperson, registered builder, site manager, construction manager or other building professional involved in overseeing or managing building and construction projects in the residential or small scale commercial sectors.

This course will provide you with the knowledge, information and tools to build energy efficient buildings beyond the mandatory requirements outlined in the National Construction Code and to minimise waste during the construction process. You will be able to:

  • Incorporate building science principles into the construction of energy efficient buildings
  • Support sustainable building practices by minimising waste removed from residential or commercial building and construction sites

Upon successfully completing this course registered builders, who are also Master Builders Victoria members, have the opportunity to apply to become a Green Living Accredited Builder.
