This course is suitable if you are a qualified tradesperson, registered builder, site managers, construction managers or other building professional involved in the selection and preparation of major domestic building contracts.
By undertaking this course, you will develop an understanding of the legislative requirements applicable to the building industry. The importance of completing the correct building contract for each project is also covered. Practical aspects of this course include instruction in ensuring financial transactions (such as payroll and GST systems) are compliant with legislation, scheduling progress payments, aspects of contract administration, terminating a contract, dealing with customer complaints and prevention of legal action.
