This workshop has been designed to educate the personnel involved in the planning or designing stage of a project, assist in the selection of materials and methods, and the application of various types of waterproofing mediums used in construction. It is suitable for building practitioners, waterproofers, ceramic tilers, architects, engineers, electricians, plumbers, air conditioning and solar panel installers, designers, building surveyors, site managers, foreman, estimators, and other industry professionals who have responsibility to ensure a construction project is made watertight and shall perform correctly for a given period of time (min 10 years).
Participants will be given practical internal waterproofing examples to learn from and will be provided with a common sense approach to utilise the Australian Standards at hand and apply the everyday practicable mentality to waterproofing. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to:
