Do you employ a carpentry apprentice? If you do, encourage them to take part in Worldskills.

Master Builders Victoria is supporting Worldskills and Swinburne University of Technology at the 2019 Worldskills Regional Competition to be held at Swinburne, Croydon on Wednesday 28 August 2019.

This is a great opportunity for your apprentice to showcase their ability and the training you’ve given them.

The hands-on competition takes just one day, but the benefits to builders and apprentices are ongoing.  Apprentices get to demonstrate their skills, and builders gain from their increased experience. And everyone gets bragging rights!

If you have a carpentry apprentice, at any level, working in the eastern or northern Melbourne metropolitan area, encourage them to register now.

To learn more, contact Careers Manager Ingrid Mountford on (03) 9411 4511.

Worldskills encourages excellence in the building and construction industry and promotes apprenticeships as valuable career pathways.

Registrations close on Friday 23 August so act quickly!
