The Building Victoria's Recovery Taskforce has given the green light to a set of shovel-ready construction projects in and around the Melbourne CBD worth more than $1.2 billion.
These projects help build a pipeline that extends not just months but years, creating jobs and sustaining business.

"We are pleased that the Building Victoria’s Recovery Taskforce is working with our sector directly to create a long-term pipeline of work for Victorians," Master Builders Victoria CEO Rebecca Casson said, "and we look forward to more projects being approved, such as the important $250 million development at 31 Station Street Caulfield, which includes a build-to-rent scheme and affordable housing, which the Planning Minister has also called in from VCAT,"

"Proceeding with these projects puts Victoria in better financial shape; fast-tracking eliminates waiting time which we simply cannot afford given the damage the pandemic has already done to our economy," she said.
