As we communicated last week, the Red Tape Commissioner recently released a discussion paper into the state’s planning and building approvals processes. The discussion paper identifies 27 key areas of delays across the planning and building stages of the approvals processes and proposes 102 improvements. Master Builders has provided key insights to the review and have met with the Commissioner and her team regularly throughout the year.

On Friday 8 November from 8.30 am – 10.30 am (9.00 am start) the Commissioner will discuss the paper and its implications at the State Library Theatrette. The event is free to all attendees.

For those who are unable to attend, a live stream to the event is available here.

The discussion paper is open to public consultation until 15 November and can be found here.
