Investment in essential infrastructure projects and plans to modernise Victoria’s antiquated planning system announced in today’s State Budget will help boost the building and construction sector, but proposed tax increases on the fringe will hurt housing affordability says the Master Builders Association of Victoria.
Master Builders Executive Director, Brian Welch, said investment in essential community infrastructure will help improve job security for Victoria’s 196,700 building and construction workers.
