What do engineers do?

There are several different types of engineer that are involved in construction work including

Civil, Structural and Electrical Engineers. They are responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the construction and maintenance of various structures or components of these structures.

Typical Tasks

• Determining materials, construction methods and programs for on-site activities
• Creating and interpreting drawings, plans and other documentation
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other project consultant
