About the winning project
The Northeast Health Wangaratta Redevelopment project was a stage project that consisted of five Separable Portions. The upgrade and modernisation of existing spaces will ensure Northeast Health can continue to provide the highest quality patient care for years to come, in a building designed and built to face the challenges of a hospital environment. The Northeast Health design incorporates highly detailed design finishes with functionality, that includes curved Corian staff bases, especially designed to resist the constant flow of staff, locally sourced timber handrailing to guide visitors and patients through the wards and feature pendant lights.
