About the winning project
The Windsor Display home design began with Virtue Homes identifying a need for a large luxury ranch-style home to meet the demand from customers interested in rural properties post-COVID, which was an untapped market in the region. The team created a unique country lodge feel using warmer tones, moodier furnishings and liveable areas. The home boasts specific rural property design elements, including large farm-style kitchens with ample bench space, generous bedrooms, fireplaces, mudroom areas, and protected outdoor living areas from the west. The use of different materials and finishes were important to showcase innovative ideas and display craftsmanship.
