About the winning project
Virgon’s involvement was for the full construction of the entire four apartment development, including construction of all landscaping and swimming pool works. The exterior of the design encapsulates classic Toorak grandeur. With a bold façade that comprises a custom white polished rendering finish with custom built pillars to the front façade. The interior, while grand, has more of a contemporary flair. The main areas are expansive, open plan areas that are personified in contemporary home living. Natural light is captured throughout with area such as the three oversized skylights in the Penthouse living room and full height steel windows to Apartment 1. There are several feature arched windows within the interior of the apartments which are used to create barriers between living spaces. The apartments sit atop a 10-car basement that has had an epoxy finish applied to all floor areas and rendering continued to all walls.
