Having the availability of 180+ degree views from the open ocean to the surrounding hills, design of the living areas was focused on bringing these into view. The cantilevered front living area gave an undercover shelter for the outdoor dining and barbecue areas.The external crazy paving and blockwork flowed from the outside to in through the front door, down the hallway and out the back french doors to blend the inside and out. The main bedroom, ensuite, kitchen and living areas were upstairs to allow for the clients, once inside, to remain on the top level. The small deck upstairs with stack sliding doors to bring the sea views inside. The remaining bedrooms, bathrooms and second living area were downstairs for when the children and grandchildren came to visit.
