About the winning project

Commercial Place is a commercial and residential property in Drouin, Gippsland. The brief was to design a home that felt like a luxury hotel, while taking advantage of the beautiful views of the Baw Baw ranges. This project includes many different levels, from the the basement garage which is fitted with a car turntable. A lift that takes you from the garage to the second and third level. Ground level is a commercial shop which was also completed by the builder. The second level features the kitchen, living area, dining, study, spare bedroom and bathroom, and laundry. While the third level features an oversized master bedroom, his and her ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, spare bedroom and bathroom. The terrace is on the rooftop of third level with an outdoor dining area, barbecue/kitchenette which looks over the Baw Baw ranges.
