About the winning project
The project involved a significant transformation of an existing factory/office building into a contemporary co-working space, characterised by an expansive, open-plan design. Emphasising sustainability, the project prioritized the reuse of materials salvaged from demolition, repurposing elements such as existing floor joists into sleek benchtops and floor sheeting into elegant wall linings, while repurposed concrete cutouts are ingeniously integrated as garden steppers, imbuing the space with both aesthetic appeal and environmental responsibility.
