About the winning project
To navigate the challenges posed by the site’s characteristics, Hickory implemented a robust retention piling system around the perimeter, ensuring structural integrity during excavation. Despite being 5m below the water table level, Hickory successfully constructed a basement spanning three and a half levels. Anchoring the structure securely to bedrock, Hickory employed Continuous Flight Auger foundation piles with a diameter of 1200mm, providing essential stability and load-bearing capacity.
