About the winning project

The design of this home started with a G.J. Gardner floorplan, but was adapted to suit the needs of the homeowners as well as make the most of the views at the rear of the house – without going over the budget. The use of mixed materials, straight stacked brick, render, axon and rock on the exterior of the home gives dimension to the long ranch style design. Inside, the main living area is filled with natural light from highlight windows and a large bank of glazed sliding doors which open out to the large alfresco area which creates a great indoor/outdoor living experience.
