About the winning project
In the Fishermans Bend Plant 18 Early Works project, the Building Engineering team embarked on a transformative journey to enhance the infrastructure of the Fishermans Bend Innovation Precinct. The primary objective revolved around the construction of an advanced substation and main switch room, strategically positioned to enable a new point of electrical supply to Plant 18 from Todd Road. This project consisted of the construction of a new concrete building, seamlessly integrating institute and precast elements, to house the Citipower substation and main switch room.
