About the winning project
The Futures Centre was constructed with great care and quality to deliver a complex sequence of integrated spaces and a mix of performance expectations. The primary spaces have very different performance attributes, from open gatherings to quieter library zones, to acoustically controlled music rooms, to general learning classrooms, to a flexible, high-performing, multi-purpose auditorium performance space. As a centre looking to the future, the construction has achieved a building that enables ongoing flexibility and adaptability with the assistance of the construction team. The school wanted a flagship project, and they are very happy to celebrate their new asset as a symbol of their future aspirations for the school and their learning community.
