About the winning project
The client wanted to create their own Hamptons-style beach house. The cathedral ceiling in the the kitchen/ living was an absolute must have including the northern window. The odd-shaped block at the end of the court was ideal for a long sprawling home that fit into the block with every room looking out onto the front and back yards. The house was built on a waffle pod slab with under floor heating throughout the home. The externals walls are a mixture of weather boards and bagged brick to go with beachy feel. The oak engineered floor running through the most of the house also add to this feel. The bathrooms have been expertly finished with a combination of natural crazy pave floor, micro cement wall and huge full width skylights, making them show stopping spaces.
