About the winning project
This is one of the biggest homes built by Baybuilt Homes and is a waffle pod slab with timber frames and trusses. The main living, dining and kitchen is made up of four steel portal frames with LVL rafters tying it all together. The south end of the living room has a huge concrete tilt panel fireplace with a concrete bench and storage running through. The entrance and links ceiling have been lined with spotted gum timber lining, which really draws your eye. The polished concrete throughout the kitchen, living and dining ties in perfectly with the concrete tilt panels.
