Master Builders has introduced a number of delivery training options for individuals who are confident, independent learners, with relevant industry experience.
Certificate III in Occupational Health and Safety
This nationally recognised qualification is:
- designed for Health and Safety Representatives and Site Supervisors
- the minimum OH&S competency requirement for Commercial Limited Builder Registration.
On enrolment participants are provided with a set of DVD's and a CD with relevant regulations and government OHS acts including a training manual and support resources.
All assessment tasks must be submitted and the final 3 hour test undertaken at a Master Builders office within 3 months of commencement.
Online Certificate IV in Building and Construction(Building)
Selected modules of the Certificate IV in Building and Construction(Building) can be undertaken online.
We anticipate that the full course will be available online by the end of 2012.

Online Occupational Health and Safety Construction Induction Training(White Card)
The Master Builders 'Assessment Centre' is located in the Business Lounge on Level 1 of the Master Builders Head Office in East Melbourne.
Currently available is our web based assessment for the OH&S Construction Induction Training. If you believe you have the requisite skills and knowledge to be able to work safely in the construction industry you can choose to enrol directly to undertake the online assessment on a day and at a time that suits.
Am I suited to flexible and online delivery?
To be successful in undertaking an online course, you will need to:
have sound computer skills, including competent use of
- Word, email and internet
- Be a confident independent learner
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be able to meet set deadline dates for the submission of course work
- Be prepared to undertake a supervised comprehensive written assessment at a Master Builders office near to you.
