Master Builders Association of Victoria Foundation Limited
 
The Master Builders Association of Victoria Foundation Limited is a not-for-profit organisation which has been established as an initiative of the Master Builders Association of Victoria to expand the opportunities for deserving individuals to access education and training to enhance their career development in the building and construction industry. Initiatives implemented through the Foundation will deliver benefits to both the individual recipients and more broadly the Victorian building, construction and related industries.

The Master Builders Association of Victoria Foundation Limited aims to establish and promote the building, construction and related industries as industries concerned with the on-going training, development and career progressions of its members. The scholarships awarded by the Foundation will be in respect of a broad range of courses with the intention of addressing two concurrent industry needs, namely skill requirements and skill shortages with the relevant industries.
Master Builders Foundation of Victoria Limited
More specifically, the Foundation will:
  1. Assist young persons who are suffering from socio-economic disadvantage or hardship to obtain apprenticeships in the building, construction or related industries by funding their educational expenses for a pre-apprenticeship course


  2. Assist persons who are suffering from socio-economic disadvantage or hardship to complete apprenticeships in the building, construction or related industries by funding selected expenses


  3. Further enhance the technical or business skills of individuals currently working in the building, construction or related industries by funding their educational expenses in an approved course

Mission
The Master Builders Association of Victoria Foundation Limited is a not-for-profit organisation which has been established as an initiative of the Master Builders Association of Victoria to meet the continuous skills demanded by the Industry. Its mission is to attract, assist and train people who wish to establish and develop a career within the building and construction industry.
